Prunus subhirtella Pendula ‘Weeping Cherry’
The Prunus subhirtella Pendula ‘Weeping Cherry’ is an excellent, formal shaped weeping specimen tree. There are a few varieties of Weeping Cherries, a single white, double white, a single pink and a double pink. The buds open up to masses of flowers, covering the branches during spring. The leaves turn rustic colours of orange, yellow, bronze and red during autumn, creating a wonderful display. Weeping cherries like a sunny position, and must be planted in well-drained soil.
